APK provides a selection of Effluent Treatment Plants that are effective. The all-encompassing therapy method operates on a number of levels and makes use of a number of physical, chemical, biological, and membrane processes. Additionally, APK offers effluent treatment options for many industrial waste water types. Industries are given specialized systems to fit the vast range of effluents and to preserve efficiency. APK also provides equipment for the purpose of recycling wastewater and lowering water consumption
Effluent Treatment Plant
Waste Water treatment and processes are designed as per clients requirement or pollution control Board norms form an integral part of our equipment supplies.
An Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is a system used to treat and purify industrial or process wastewater before it is released into the environment. The goal of an ETP is to remove pollutants and harmful substances from the wastewater so that it meets the standards set by environmental regulations.
The Effluent Treatment Plant treats wastewater that is contaminated or polluted. The process is performed to remove contaminants like chemicals, heavy metals, Bacteria, suspended solids etc. The ETP can use a batch process or a continuous flow process, and it uses a combination of processes to clean the wastewater.
1. The primary level of the treatment process involves removing biodegradable organic materials, suspended matter, and dissolved materials. The tertiary level is where wastewater is cleaned of chemicals
2. Secondary level is to reduce the BOD of water through Anaerobic and aerobic treatment
To reduce the risk of pollution, a wastewater treatment plant should have a sludge trap and a sediment trap. This traps suspended solids and other pollutants The effluent discharge from a treatment Plant can be returned to the environment if treated properly without damage to organisms.
APK provides customized systems to treat the wide variety of effluents.
We provide Complete Equipments for Effluent Treatment Plant as follows

Preliminary – Physical
Removal of large solids such as rags, sticks, grit and grease etc. with Bar Screen and Grease Traps
- Screening: A screen with uniform-sized apertures is used to eliminate bulky substances like plastic, fabric; etc.Maximum 10mm is typically utilized.
- Sedimentation: Gravity is used in a physical treatment procedure to remove suspended materials from water.
- Clarification: Used for separation of suspended solids from fluids.

Primary-Physical and Chemical
Removal of floating and settable materials such as suspended solids and organic matter through Dosing Chemicals and Settlers like Clarifiers, Clariflocculators Tube Settlers etc
- Chemical unit procedures are always performed in conjunction with physical operations and may also be utilized in conjunction with biological treatment processes.
- Chemical processes add chemicals to the waste water to modify its quality.
- Example: pH control, coagulation, chemical precipitation and oxidation.
- The use of clarifier Clariflocculators tube settler to settles the TSS is done here

Secondary-Biological and Chemical
Removal of biodegradable organic matter through Anaerobic treatment OR through Aerobic treatment with Diffusers and Air Blowers etc
Biological unit process:
- To remove, or reduce the concentration of organic and inorganic compounds
- Organic and inorganic chemicals must be removed or reduced in concentration.
Aerobic Processes:
- Aerobic treatment procedures occur in the presence of oxygen (air).
- Uses microorganisms (aerobes) that utilize molecular/free oxygen to ingest organic pollutants, transforming them into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass.
- In the absence of air (oxygen), the process of therapeutic treatment begins.
- Uses Anaerobic bacteria for treatment
- Methane and biomass are the by products.

Tertiary-Physical, Chemical and Biological
The tertiary level is where wastewater is cleaned of chemicals like Removal of Residual Suspended Solids, traces of Color and Odor through Oxidation by Chlorine and Ozonation.Fine Filtration by Sand and Activated Carbon Filter
